【鳥取のまけないぞうサポーターの南利子さんからのお便りです】
先日久々に上京した際に東京で働く古くからの友人のクレオパトラに会うことになっていたので、再会記念の彼女へのお土産として“まけないぞう”さんをプレゼントしました！
実はクレオちゃんの故郷はアフリカのジンバブエ。
彼女に“まけないぞう”さんを紹介したところ、なんと 『ジンバブエでも象のことはゾウと言うのよ！』と教えてくれ、とっても喜んでくれました！
私自身が”まけないぞう“に出会ったのは約１年半ほど前。その時 帰省中だった中学時代からの友人がプレゼントしてくれたのがきっかけ。
そして、『まけないぞうプロジェクト』の素晴らしさに感銘を受け、このプロジェクトがずっと続いていくようにという願いを込めて、ちょくちょく被災地NGOさんにオーダーさせていただいては、鳥取の友人、知人たちに紹介し続けてています！
これからもここ鳥取での”まけないぞうの営業担当者”として、少しずつですが末永く ぞうさんを紹介して行きたいと思っています！

【Makenaizo Message from Ms. Toshiko Mimami in Tottori Prefecture】
I saw a good friend of mine named Cleopatra in Tokyo. I’ve decided to introduce Makenaizo elephant to her as a gift from me. Cleo really loved Makenaizo elephant and she told me that they call elephant “Zo” in Zimbabwe as well, just like we Japanese do!! What a nice surprise!! Actually I met Makenaizo about 1 and a half years ago when my old friend from Junior High gave me the elephant. I got so impressed with the background of this wonderful project, and I’ve been trying to introduce as many Makenaizos as possible since then, so that this project will continue to help the affected people as long as possible. I’m looking forward to supporting this project going forward as one of the sales representatives of Makenaizo in Tottori Area!
